Tips on Setting up your Home Office

 

  1. Identify and create an ideal workspace
  • Choose a quiet area or room away from distractions
  • Room with a door is ideal if live with others who will also be at home


   


2. Equipment

  • Have a designated desk or table
  • Comfortable chair
  • Fast and uninterrupted Wi-Fi connection


3. Lighting is more important than you think.  Avoid fluorescent lighting, if possible, as it can cause drowsiness.  Try allowing as much natural light in as possible.


4. Have a set schedule and make sure you get up and stretch.  Take your scheduled breaks and lunch.  Force yourself to have an end time and stick with it.
