This proved a puzzler to me for awhile as the documentation is not very good on Microsoft's site. In the end it proved to be ridiculously simple. All you need to do is quit the app (double-click the home button, then swipe the app up), open Outlook again and you will get the message 'Can't connect. Please log in again'. Enter your new password and voila! Password changed.


If this somehow doesn't work for you then do the following:

  1. Open the Outlook App
  2. Click Settings (lower right corner)
  3. Click Accounts
  4. Click Edit Login Information
  5. Update password
  6. Click Sign in
